More than 1000 bioenergy-experts from 4 continents and 50 countries made Graz from the 16. to the 19. january to the biomass-world–capital! About 80 presentations treated subjects like
- climate change and security of energy supply
- raw material supply
- heat and electricity from biomass
- transport biofuels
- biogas
- new energy crops
- financing bioenergy projects
Additionally, the programme offered a session for the presentation of Austrian top-technology („Industry Forum“), B2B meetings („Matchmaking Event“) and a special workshop on the subject of fine particulate emissions. As conclusion of the congress the organisers published the "Graz Declaration".
